I have ECS KM400-M Deluxe PCB 1.0A mainboad.

And there is ECS KM400-M Deluxe PCB 1.0B.

Those 2 mainboads have the same chipset, layout, cpus, and use the same drivers.

But PCB 1.0A has less stable than 1.0B and they use different BIOS versions.

I want to flash the 1.0B into 1.0A for more stablity and perfomance.
Is it ppossible?

BIOS Name BIOS for KM400-M Deluxe(PCB:1.0A)

Well, if you could use the 1.0B on the 1.0A board, why release seperate versions?

The answer is: no.

I think what he is asking is if he can update the bios to V1.0b and the answer is yes. I just did it to my KM400-M 1.0a
then after updating to 1.0b, i tried 1.0e and it worked as well. I had to load optimized defualts in the bios to boot.
Now i can run 2x1GB of PC3200 ram.

The answer is: YES!

To make myself clear i thought i would post again.

I have an ECS KM400-M PCB 1.0A and i updated the bios from version 1.0a to the 1.0b version found on the KM400-M 1.0A bios update page.

Then i updated to the 1.0E version found on the KM400-M 1.0b bios update page and insalled 2x1GB sticks of Crucial PC3200 ram and
the computer is running fine.

Interesting. So you are running DDR400 memory at 400MHz FSB? What CPU?
