GigabyteGA-8TRS300M Bios Problem

HI

can anyone help i have two of the above motherboard with bios Rev F7B

Gigabyte bios site says the latest is F7

I have a problem with the boards not working correctly is there anyway i can update the bios to Rev F7

f7b sounds like f7 beta (pre-release version). So I'd say go for it.

You can update it from MS-DOS or using @BIOS:

but thats my problem F7 will not update F7B it as if F8 would be the next update

Is there such a way of changing the correct F7 Bios from gigabyte to say F8 to fool the motherboard into accepting the bios update

Or does anybody know someone who could modify the gigabyte F7 bios for me as the F7B in the boards at the moment appears not to be a genuine Gigabyte bios

If you think someone had flashed the wrong BIOS before, enter the BIOS and press F8 to access Q-Flash/Dual BIOS utility.

i cannot get into the q flash

the board has a single bios

i think both boards were made for a unknown application thats why bios ios version F&B

B not standing for Beta
