:( I downloaded an update for ms 6119 ver1.1 bx2 off of the msi.tw site as instructed by their tech support. It changed all of my english to chineese on startup making it impossible to do anything or resolve bios issues. Any ideas...I can't seem to find any updates on the web. Thanks

It seems you installed the chinese AMI bios

Crossflash to the Award Bios - englisch only .
Make sure you pick the right version for your MS-6119
-> Standard mainboard is CPU configuration per jumper
-> CPU PnP is the jumperless version with CPU cofiguration in Bios

Use Uniflash to crossflash from AMI to Award

Pick the correct Award Bios for your Board and install it so your Board will be fully functional with Bios Setup in english

my BIOS to an Award BIOS and the existing one is an AMI, do I use the AMI flash or the Award flash program? Again, the original problem was attempting to integrate a 120G hard drive. Also...if I need to use recover would I use the one for AWARD or AMI? You have been very helpful.
Thank you for your time.

Uniflash supports the i440BX chipset without problems

Info : MSI Germany say MS-6119 Rev 1.2 is CPU PnP and Rev 1.1 ist standard/DIP

I patched the MS-6119 V1.2 (PNP) BIOS a while back for chesster51 - he never gave feedback. It is still at the "untested" link in my signature.

The PCB V1.1 (switch/jumper) BIOS w6119s2a.exe supports HDD >64GB anyway.
Tested patched BIOSes. Untested patched BIOSes.
