Hi all,

I have a Gateway model 700S, which according to the boot screen is really an E-6000 in disguise. I have FINALLY found the bios update here at Wim's, but the link is dead... Actually, all of the links seem to be dead - did this source get moved and the links not get updated?

Gateway E-6000 Intel 850 GW69SIX1 51-2300-000000-00101111-030199--MV850

Can anyone help me get this BIOS update?

I'm hoping it will solve some memory problems I'm having (the PC, not my memory 8) )

Thanks for the link! I found this BIOS on another site on the web.

The problem is, it's stating that the motherboards are the Lexington, Lexington 2, and Lexington 3 Motherboard.

When I ran Aida64, and other programs, the motherboard is identified as: Intel Maryville 2 D850EMV2 (5 PCI, 1 AGP, 4 RIMM, Audio)

and the BIOS version is detected as - MV85010A.15A.0049.P07.0204171416

Is it close enough to try anyway? I'm just worried that it is a completely different motherboard...

MaryVille is the Intel codename. Lexington etc are the Gateway codenames.

15A is the Gateway OEM identifier.
MV85010A is the designator for the D850MV
