I have found (i think not sure) an update called 1003.bin but after i tried to run AFLASH.EXE from my floppy disk in MS-DOS i a m getting a message "Error! Can't find system bios' hook". What is wrong ? Wrong bios , corupted exe file or what ?

PLEASE HELP WITH A NEW UPDATED BIOS AND THE TOOL USED TO FLASH IT.

Your Asus A7V266-MX can be updated easily via Asus Update:

I've done it finnaly using that Asus update software, is not the first time i am trying to use it tho, even now i was unable to receive the BIOS from the internet so i selected Update Bios from file and worked.

After i restarted the PC, windows detected new hardware - my onboard lan-
VIA PCI 10/100Mb Fast Ethernet Adapter. To mention that is the first time when windows is detecting this device, still i am unable to use(configure) the onboard lan ..no ideea why, there is no conflict , but when i am trying to make any changes to (onbard VIA PCI 10/100Mb Fast Ethernet Adapter) - IP, gatways, dns etc after apply button that window freezes. After many tries and crashes i got the IP settings there.. but no ping to my gatways (no firewall, all settings are ok) Any ideea how to fix this ? It will be great to fix this if not is ok i will use another PCI adapter that works 100%.

Maybe the MAC address was damaged somehow - check it using e.g. ipconfig.
