Hello!

I have little problem. I have maxtors 60gb 740 harddisk and i'm trying to get it work on the octeks old mainboard. The bios which was on the mainboard didn't recognice the harddisk but when i upgraded it to 2k017 it recogniced the hd but it doesn't continue from that point. If i wait enough it just gives me a black screen and stays there... if i press del it goes to bios... and when i disable the harddisk from bios the computer start to boot nicely...

What's the newest bios for the mainboard?? Anyone?

Thanks
PP

The most up to date version of the BIOS that was on thier FTP (when it was available) was from 07/22/1999

I downloaded the entire FTP. Those are the files that were there.
