Problems after updating BIOS

Hey I own a HP Pavillion a1507.uk, with a ECS RC410-M mother board...

I have recently updated my BIOS using the download from this HP web site....

First problem I noticed is that I had lost my Internet Connection through a Belkin Wireless G+ Reciever and could not retrieve previous settings...

I formatted my hard drive (which was needed anyways) to try and fix this problem....

I have had various problems installing the belkin software/driver since formating the hard drive (this is all I have tried doing since reinstalling windows) and my computer keeps crashing at startup/shutdown....

I have finally got the belkin software to work and now suddenly windows can not detect my wireless reciever in the device manager....Although I could detect it whilst the software didnt work....

I have tried everything to get it working and even tried another wireless reciever but it still doesnt detect it....

The only thing that I have changed since these problems came about is updating the BIOS.....

Can anyone give me any advice on what I should do next?
