You cannot boot from diskette ? With all IDE cables disconnected and CMOS cleared ?

Is it completely dead, nothing on screen, no beeps ? If so, have you tried another PSU ?[edit] Silly of me, you get the "insert diskette" message - but it really will not boot a DOS diskette ? Check your diskette type setting is 1.44, try another FDD......

Go into the CMOS setup, and auto-detect your HDD.
Flash your BIOS at your own risk.

all trying to to this but nothing works.
in bois i'll see the harddisk, and the cd-players, and the 1.44 station.
after starting , it end just after finding the IDE (HD ,CD player) .
the system wait a minute or 2, and then give me the message failure, put boot diskette and press enter.
When i do that, nothing happens, it give al black screen with the cursur.
not possible to type anything.
