Hi all,
Trying to install bios v1.10, the installation program will not continue without a fully charged battery. The battery is dead and not going to be replaced by new for 100$...
Need the bios upgrade to install win2k.
The following files are in the bios upgrade disk;

$0036000.fl1
$0036000.fl2
COMMAND.COM
CONFIG.SYS
FLASH2.EXE
PROD.DAT
UPDTFLSH.EXE
updtrom.exe
USERINT.EXE
UTILINFO.EXE

The .fl1 file is 512KB

I have tried some solutions posted for the 600 series without luck.
The thinkpad will only boot with the bios upgrade disk, and not with DOS 6.0 or win95 bootdisk from bootdisk.com.
So I cannot run the flash2.exe

Please help,
thanks
Magnus
