06/14/2000 - i440BX - W977 - 2A69KM4KC — 00 i got that kind of BIOS

W6163MJ V 5.3

I think it is MSI BX MASTER mainbord

He dosnt support HDD my 80 GB HDD ( see only 32 GB )

When i try upadate it its wrote - UKNOW FLASH TYPE

wat should i do any clue ???

our flashprog does not support the Flashrom chip installed on your Board. Try Uniflash.
But if your Bios only recognize 32GB then remove the 32GB limitation jumper from your HDD. Only if your Bios hangs during detection you'll need a new one.

Jumper removed , hdd hangs :(

Uniflash does also not recognize that :( its write unkonw :(

Any other idea ??

AWFL789.EXE should work for your motherboard.

boot from a clean DOS diskette. http://www.bootdisk.com has a drdos bios flashing disk, use that one.

Does your motherboard have a Bios Write Protection feature either per ios or Jumper ?
Read your manual to find out.
