I got an Enmic 3VEX+ Mainboard with a old bios. So I decided to update it,and I load down the new bios as a .bin and the flasher (award). I did it the same way I did all my biosupdates! But a message "the file's part number does not match your system" came on the screen. I tried an older version from award, nothing! The same is with Uniflasher! It seems that the flasher has no acces to the bios! The "write protect" jumper is in correct position!

Any ideas??

Might have to do with the fact that starting version 2001-09-07 they moved to AWARD v6.00PG.

Maybe you are right with the v6.00! is there any way to handle this??

If you're sure you have the right BIOS file, then go ahead and flash. Make sure you save a copy of your original BIOS first, just in case...

It is working now!
I had to add /f in the flashstring!

Anybody knows what the /f stands for?
