Hi amig@s,

I read about updating my BIOS (Award Modular BIOS v6.00PG), but I don't know why and how it is going to improve my PC. Could you please let me know the need of the update and how to update it? Is it risky? Can I crash my Pc?

It's always a bit risky to update your Bios and a lot more risky if you don't know what you are doing.
Don't change a running system !
You only need to update you Bios if you run into a specific problem cured with a newer Bios.
You seem to have a Gigabyte GA-8ISXT mainboard using the F2 Bios . The FS might be there because you are using a Fujitsu-Siemens computer, support has then to come from FSC.
