It seemes that I cant adjust manually upp to more than 8.45GB.
(It doesnt recognize more than 255 heads)

Yes I see 120GB HDD Support.
And yes auto detection.

So the problem is still there. It cant see my 80 GB HDD.

Perhaps its impossible to get an update from 8.45 to max 120GB
with this patch ?

Dont know exactly what you mean by "see 120GB HDD Support".
But I see the bios version and the "120GB support" on the startup page.
So its the updated bios running.

Ill be back Sunday or Monday reporting the results.

Now with the 6.2GB HDD the installation of W2k is ok.
(Dont know why it hangs with the old installation.)
But still, I cant see the 80GB HDD in the bios setup.
Any adwise please.

Yes I moved the battery.

I will try a new installation of W2k , with
a new ( old 6GB) HDD and see if it works.

It didnt work.
The HDD did not appear in the bios setup.
And even worse, the W2k with old (2GB) HDD
did not start Windows. It hangs during bootup of W2k.
Even with old functioning bios-file. (Forever ?)
Please any suggestion ?
