3-4 devices sharing the same IRQ?!?!?
Hi. I was having this problem with WinXP and now with Win2K. I have 3 devices sharing the same IRQ (11) and when I Enable USB from BIOS that also shares the same IRQ. I have tried moving my devices to different PCI slots but the problem is still there. The other thing is that Windows won't allow me ...

I FREAKIN' FIXED IT!!!!!
GOD DAMN!!!! I finally fixed it!!! Yes, you're gonna laugh at me but the problem was that I was using a Serial mouse and not a PS/2 mouse. I really don't see how that should cause a problem but it did! Anyways, everything works fine now... well, almost! It seems that there's a problem with my Ethern...

Hehe... I'm telling you guys, I've tried EVERYTHING!! Yes, I did try to load BIOS defaults. Didn't work... Win98 works just fine... I get the same problem however when I try to install Win2k, which doesn't really surprise me since it's the same (or similar) architecture as WinXP. I'm pretty sure tha...

Shuttle AV61 & WinXP installation Problems!
Hi. I have been DESPERATELY trying to install WinXP on my system and no matter what I try I can't get it to work. Has anyone else been having problems with this mobo but managed to fix it? The problem is that once the installation begins, the system restarts and basically goes into a boot cycle. Som...

HELP!!! 2nd mobo that dies on me IN ONE DAY!!
WOW, and I didn't do anything this time!!! Ok, here's the thing. I've been trying to install WinXP FOR AGES on my "strong" system whose motherboard is a spacewalker AV61 (I know, not the very best ones). Anyway, I have been unsuccessful in installing the OS and today I tried something else in my BIO...

HELP!! Just killed an old mobo!
Hi. I was fooling around with an old system which has an ATREND (I think) mobo, an ATC-1000 with Interl 42830FX chipset. I tried to update the bios using uniflash and it gave me a warning, something about bootblock (if I remember correctly) not being present but I went ahead anyway. Uniflash gave me...
