TEKRAM P6B40D-A05 BIOS Version 1.07..

IDE Auto Config identifies drive, but BIOS hangs when displaying system summary...

Need patched BIOS please.

That's odd, this problem was already solved in rev 1.06:

You did a clear CMOS after flashing and the board is booting normally if you disconnect the 80GB drive?

If it's a Western Digital and the only device on the cable, did you set it for "Single Drive" not "Master"?

I have two of these boards and both of them show the same symptoms with the 80GB drive (Auto detect identifies drive, but BIOS setup display hangs showing drive size). This is a Western Digital 80GB drive and it works fine in my ABIT VP6. Boards work fine with 40GB Samsung or 60GB Western Digital drives. Only the 80GB drive hangs them, so I'm guessing the fix they're referring to in V1.06 is for drives > 32MB, but not over 65GB?

Rainbow's utility shows support only for >32GB. Patched 1.07 BIOS for evaluation will be available at the link in my sig in a few minutes time....ftp permitting:)
Tested patched BIOSes. Untested patched BIOSes.
