HI All

I was up grading an OLIVETTI for a friend when I had a power spike

Which seems to have corrupted the BIOS

The laptop goes throught all of the POST test

Will try to activita the hard drive

and start to boot from a disk

The reason i think it has something to do with the BIOS, is during all this I don't have any video, there is a brief flash that the screen is working but no other output,

HELP Please.

You should have bootable floppy with new BIOS and flasher. Create autoexec.bat file that will run the flasher automatically (f199.exe 860_132.1). If it asks for confirmation, you will have to confirm (without seeing anything on the screen).
