Hello,

I'm looking for a bios for a Winco W-P55VT2 rev D motherboard. Winco seems to be out of bussiness and i was not able to find any Winco-stuff on the net. Can anybody help me and mail me a bios-file for this board? A manual or information about jumper settings are welcome too.

Thanks

Found one in the archives:

Found a manual but it's too big to put online. I've sent you a request for an email account where I can put 7 megabytes.

Thank you Edwin for your help. I've already downloaded a manual, now i have finally some information to instal a faster processor.

The bios update seems to be for the D1 revision with a different type of I/O chip.

Thank you again

What is your CURRENT string and what I/O chip is on the board? I might have another possible candidate.

Found this in my HDD (typical Rainbow expression  )

05/14/97 W-P55VT2 REV.D

I wonder what its DataExpert equivalent was...

Found this Bios, too after searching all stored files on internet archive

Seems it's possible to be patched up to 128GB ??!?? > I'm wondering a little

Maybe Edwin or Rainbow have some newer ones
It seems Rev D1 has a SMC669 I/O and Rev E VIA83669

05/14/97 W-P55VT2 REV.D For AGOS

looks like a better match (AC not 9C).
