Possible a Gigabyte GA6VA - please verify with marking on your board usually between the PCI-Slots
Have you tried their latest Bios ?

Yes it is a GA-GVA. I'm very sorry but one character (G instead of 6) was misspelled. In this subject it is now correct. I have the newest BIOS installed. It has a version number F2.
The hard disk autodetection in the BIOS setup works well, but under Win 98 the HD is not there.
