Hi all,
I've just bought an 80 Gb Maxtor D540X-4K drive and installed it. My motherboard is an ASUS A7V-133 Socket-A. However, I can't get the PC to see past the first 32Gb! From reading other postings I gather there is a bug with Award bios. I downloaded the latest version I could find on their website (a7v1010). I flashed the bios and installed the new version with no problems - unfortunately the 32Gb limit still applies! Does anyone know of a more up to date upgrade? Failing that, what kind of EIDE card do I need to work around this?

Thanks in advance
James

Hi Jan - I can't see any other jumper than the usual one for setting master/slave - help!
