According to this http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/de ... _6400.html, it seems to be the latest BIOS.
Why do you want to flash the BIOS?

If it's for large harddisk support, that bios does recognize up to 128GB according to the tests...

I have installed a PCI Card [USB2.0+IEEE1394] by SIIG Inc. (Model # US2254) but every time i connect my Video Camera (Panasonic NV MX7) to the iLink port to record any Video onto my hard disk my computer is spontaneously re-booting after a few minutes.
After checking out some log files as well as Microsoft Help I have found out that the problem is with the BIOS which does not support this new hardware. Hence need to upgrade BIOS.
If I get a solution for this problem then i dont neet to upgrade anything 8O

Guys - thanks for you all your help so far - i am really at my wits end and after having invested a few 100 $s feeling quite dejected !!
