My motherboard is old and unknown type :
Program: eSupport.com BIOS Agent Version 3.2
BIOS Date: 09/09/98
BIOS Type: Award Modular BIOS v4.51PG
BIOS ID: 09/09/98-i440LX-BD-2A69JD4YC
Chipset: Intel 440EX/LX rev 3
Superio: Unknown
OS: WinXP
CPU: Pentium® II With On-Die L2 Cache 416 MHz
BIOS ROM In Socket: Unknown
BIOS ROM Size: Unknown
Memory Installed: 95 MB
Memory Maximum: Unknown

After I have installed Windows XP it can't work with Seagate Medalist 4321 HDD(shows message "This hard drive isn't formatted" and doesn't allow to format it), but it works with WD 10.2Gb correctly and even with 800Mb HDD. I know you specialize on motherboard BIOS, and I am sure that motherboard BIOS has 32Gb limit bug, but I don't know how to solve it so I am asking you for help. Thanks very much

Seagate 4.3 GB ? That's less than 32 GB....
The board is DFI P2BLX.. needs patching... coming soon to a mailbox near you.

I don't think patching will solve this particular problem.

I assumed it was a typo, but it isn't. The Medalist 4321 (ST34321) is 4.3GB with UDMA/ATA33. I expect by then Seagate had sorted out their ATA implementation and were no longer having the issues with master/slave implementation?
