So what should I use to flash my BIOS? I have problems with my CD writer and I can't use a large hard drive - should I just get a new PC?

I've got a BIOS for that somewhere.... not sure if it can be patched for big HDD and I don't know that there's native CD-ROM support, but I'll take a look at it.

There are a whole load of P2BXA BIOSes around, but the best candidate is probably 08/06/1999-i440BX-W977EF-2A69KSMJC-00
P2BXA VER:D.5
This already supports large HDDs. Get it at http://www.nix.ru/support/drivers.html? ... &vendor=20 under sp-p2bxd

Seen this one successfully flashed on a rev D1 bios before. I agree on that.
