I used applerom's utilties on a Shuttle HOT-603 board and never noticed that the BIOS date was still old 1998. Then I had accidentally changed a setting that kept it from booting. So I cleared the CMOS and when it came back up. It now had the rom.by text and now listed 2002 on the bottom.

Strange... I know that most mfrs want you to clear your cmos after a flash but I've never seen this before.

What version of Apple Rom's patching utility did you use ?

Hmm - I flashed my P5VX-Be with a patched Bios and it shows the patched Bios without clearing CMOS
