Hi,

I have a Q-lity motherboard ( manufactured by Quanta) that will not accept anything over 30 GB hard drive. My subject contains my BIOS string; it's an AMI BIOS. Can someone direct me to where I can get a flash upgrade for it or actually send it to me? Thanks so much!

Bob

Google search reveals http://y2k.nstl.com/html/quanta_y2k_compliant.html which says that is P3810-T or P3810E-T, same BIOS. There should be a message along the lines of 10/04/99 BQ4A13 P3810E-T under the AMI logo.

Well, I downloaded an AMI flash program and when I run it I get an error message that says " This BIOS does not suppoprt a flash upgrade". Am I screwed? Thanks

Try another version of AMIFlash or try UniFlash.

The "bootblock mismatch" error indicates either that you have the wrong BIOS or that the bootblock has been updated as well as the main BIOS. In this case the identification is clear so it should not be the wrong BIOS. To flash both main BIOS and bootblock with Uniflash, you need to go into the "Advanced" menu and select the option to flash the bootblock
