In an email, supercody wrote:in my computer there is the mainboard KM-T6-AL1 REV 1:1 chip FW82443LX.
Some time ago I happened to blot out (to cancel) its mainboard bios, because a contact.

I have found and installed this BIOS:
AWARD MODULAR BIOS v4.51 PG, An Energy Star Ally
Release 19980308-0
Award Plug and Play BIOS Extension v1.0A
02/03/98-i440LX-19980216C-00
but it doesn't work well.

The KM-T6-AL1 is equal to the Lex mainboard BN633 and the FYI 82440LX.

Please post me by e-mail the bios for the FYI 82440LX
There is a BIOS for the KM-T6-AL1 at nix.ru,
BIOS ID string: 09/10/1998-i440EX-2A69J001C-00
Old BIOS OEM string: Release 19980910-0
and it is patchable with AWD64GB for big disks.
1. Is supercody correct about the KM-T6-AL1 being the same as FYI 82440LX and BN633 ? If so and if the BIOS is the same the patch may not work correctly.
2. Does anyone know of a later version ?

Never heard of that match before so it appears to be complete guesswork based on chipset and number of slots.

Supercody points out that the nix.ru BIOS has "i440EX" in the ID when it is an i440LX board, which is disconcerting. However, that BIOS is the BIOS listed for KM-T6-AL1 (though not available) in the jamicon.nl archive at archive.org and also at bios-drivers.com, al1_0910.bin. The jamicon.nl archive lists an earlier al1_0320.bin BIOS but it is not there.

Amother curious fact is that the links to motherboard info at archive.org included "KMT6_al3.htm" for KM-642L, "KMT6_ab1.htm" for KM646B and "KMT6_el1.htm" for KM-643E/L.

not talking about jamicon/kaimei connections, they are the same boards just different labels, I find the Full Yes/Linden Tech connection questionable at best.

New player: LuckyTech P6LX2 seems to have used similar bios strings.
