BIOS String is: i440BX-ITE867-2A69KC39C-00 AWARD 4.51PG REV B 11/30/98
I have looked for a update at Chaintech since new drive is not recognised and have been told to use 6BTA3 flash and then someone else said to use 6BPV ??
The first flash doesnt say it contains a fix for larger hard drives so I dont even know if it will help. I couldnt even locate the second flash.
Any suggestions???

Look at the board, the model number should be there.

Model number might be on a small sticker residing on your flashrom

I did find on BIOS chipset a sticker that reads
6BTA3-C100N
TS7B42-1 V2.0
11/30/98 7EFE

6BTA3 WOULD APPEAR TO BE THE FLASH I NEED BUT I CHECKED AT THE SUGGESTED SITE AND THERE IS NO REFERENCE TO THAT BIOS FOR A FLASH. IT SEEMS LIKE BAD NEWS?
