My BIOS doesn't recognise a 40GB Seagate Barrcuda ATA III Model ST340824A
Can anybody help with to get the right BIOS update.
This is what BIOS agent came up with:

Looks like an OEM-Version - at least the Bios OEM message looks like OEM-Bios .
Try an update from your computer manufacturer or use FIC Bios but you'll have to determine the Board Revision(PCB) first .
Usually written onto the mainboard in the corner/edge near the last ISA Slot (1.1 or 1.3)
It's possible this Board is not a VL-601 (FIC seems to have used this Bios-ID on a lot of mainboards) so please hav a look onto your board for a model number
VBS ID looks a lilttle like Vobis/Maxdata .....
