During flashing with Award flash utility, flashing stopped and now the board is dead.
Problem is that this board has 40-pin intel's i28F002B chip and I can't find anywhere similar board for hot-swap flashing. Only thing that seems possible to me is one of the programmators (like Willem programmator) that support this chip. Because I can't find anyone with programmator like this and payed solutions are too expensive in my country (Croatia) if there even are some, I'm trying to find alternate solutions.
One of my ideas was to make adapter, the same adapter that Willem programmator uses (Willem also has 32-pin interface and uses adapter for i28F002B) and use some "normal" motherboard 32-pin interface as a programmator.
Now, is there a possiblity that this will work or am I really silly?

The adapter can be made using 32-pin and 40-pin socket, a lot of wires and some work. You will need the pinout of the i28F002B chip (in the datasheet) and pinout of some 256KB 32-pin chip (e.g. AMD Am28F020).

I made the Willem programmator 32-pin -> i28F002B adapter (pdf ), but it does not work with my Soltek 75KAV MBO - it does not recognize the chip (I tried using Uniflash). Here you can see how does it look in reality (soldering, soldering, soldering... ). <edit>I was soldering wires directly to 40-pin chip's pins and then connecting wires to 32-pin socket, and then have that socket inserted in socket on MBO</edit>
And if this adapter is compatible only for specified programmator, and I find datasheets of i28F002B and chip on my SL 75KAV (or it can be any 256kb 32-pin chip?) to build the right adapter, will Uniflash be able to recognize the chip or is this just waste of my (and your's ) time?

See this datasheet: http://www.intel.com/design/flcomp/supp ... 290578.HTM. Check all the pins and if the board you're using for hotflashing does not have 12V on the VPP pin, connect this pin directly to 12V instead.

Thanks for the datasheet.
But I don't know what to do with pins named CE#, OE#,RP#, WE# - there is no pins named similar on 32-pin chip datasheet. Should I connect them to the GND? Or something else? On my adapter diagram I have only a PCB layout and these pins "point" to nowhere and maybe they are supposed to connect with wires on other side of PCB with some pins, but I just can't figure it out...

you cannot flash a 28F002 in a 32 pin Board, but you can build an Adaptor to use a normal 32 pin FLASH in your mainboard
I have some expirience with the Gigabyte board GA-686BX it also use this exotic chip. Award flashprograms don't like this chip and crashes. Use a actual AMIflash it will work proper also with Award BIOSes.
OK, I was looking for a solution to replace this exotic Chip. and tried to solder an adaptor. i can send you the pinout. and the unbelivible is, that the mainboard also can flash a 32 pin chip with this adaptor!
The other way is to send your 40 pin chip to me to Germany and i be able to reprogram your screwed chip. I have a GALEP 4 programer, it can prgram this chip.

It IS possible to flash that chip in a board with 32-pin socket. You need only to wire it correctly.

lastgastargazer, almost everyone 6KB I tried flashing went dead (3 different boards until now). I belive once was I choose the wrong BIOS version, but on the two other crashes I'm fairly sure I had chosen the right one.
I'd swear I was able to recover using the dos boot diskette method, have you tried it?
There are two 6KB board versions, they differ on the number of PCI slots, choose the right one...
