Hello guys,

I'm struggling for quite some time with finding appropriate BIOS for my old MBO. It's a old Clayton mini-at based on 440BX, here are the specs:

BIOS Date: 01/11/00
BIOS Type: Award Modular BIOS v4.51PG
BIOS ID: 01/11/2000-440BX-ITE8671-2A69KV3IC-00
OEM Sign-On: BIOS-I-2M (2K000111) for CLAYTON
Chipset: Intel 440BX/ZX rev 3
Superio: ITE 8671 rev 1 found at port 279h
CPU Type: INTEL(R) CELERON(TM)
CPU Speed: 500 Mhz
BIOS ROM In Socket: Yes
BIOS ROM Size: 256K
Memory Installed: 192 MB

I have checked the pcpartners.com.hk website - but was not able to find appropriate update - i only came across upon the very same bios version I have on bios-drivers.com.

Soo basically I run out of options and decided to post here. I home some of you will be able to help me.

Thx in advance

Heh... funny... just flashed that BIOS a couple of hours ago:

11/20/2000-440BX-ITE8671-2A69KV3IC-00
BIOS-I-2M (2K001120)

Look for an 8 character code printed on your motherboard. My board's code was: 35-c931-06 , then check www.pcpartner.com.hk again.

The BIOS is about a year newer and works just great with Windows XP (ACPI).

Well, I did as u said - my number was 35-c930-00-20
The latest BIOS I have found turned out to be the same date as mine is
:(((

01/11/2000

So my question is - if anyone has any other ideas?
