i need a amibios update for 8500TVG

i have a 8500TVG motherboard. i installed a second hard drive for storage purposes and windows is only showing 7.82 gigs of a 40 gig hard drive. i was told that my bios only supports up to 8 gigs. they said i need to update my bios. i cannot find an update for it. does anyone know where to get it and how to update it.

there is no update for it that will allow 40GB. Add-in ATA100/ATA133 controller card needed.
