My AMI Bios string gives this information:
30-0100-001437-00101111-060692-PC CHIP-F: Hsin Tech (model: ???); distributed by PcChips
While it is plenty of info it does nothing to tell me exactly what flash I need and That Hsing company is harder to get a hold of than Bill Gates.
I would like to know how to set this bios up to reboot '' resume'' also .
The lay out on this Bios is bad and I actually would rather get advice on a good upgrade that will handle an Intel Pent III 600 cpu that I have in an Emachines. Any solid advice is welcomed.
Aslo how large of a cpu will an Emachines with a phoenix mo bo and bios running the 600 cpu intel III take? I want to upgrade the Emachines and put the 600 in another pc. Also - I do NOT want to deal with E Machines- they can keep what every they have there.

G Rice

Yep, it's a 386... The early PCCHIPS 386ers were properly labelled with their model number (i.e. M321, M326, etc.).

This is an M321 Rev 3.0 according to the bios string.
