I have a motherboard that on back is write: Elpina BA E - VO 9814.
I need the manual and drivers if its exists.
In this forum I found references for Elpina BA E - VO 9801 and 9809. I try all sugestions of this references.
I know this is a PCChips motherboard and I try
- http://go.to/ajz
- othes pcchips web site
I try too:
- 'http://www.stud.fernuni-hagen.de/q3998142/pcchips/' and use 'DO NOT KNOW' link, fill in info and search. But the results are not good for me.
Any help is welcome, thanks in advanced

Please give us a description of your board. If you can boot it, can you post its BIOS ID?

Hi ajzchips

Yes, I can boot it.

Features of my motherboard :
- On back side of motherboard is write: Elpina BA E - VO 9814.
- On chip BIOS is write:
- BURN-IN
- 24HR
- AMIBIOS
- 586 1985-95
- AMERICAN MEGATRENDS
- BK 5 5 2 4 7
- Theres only one socket for processor, is write on it 'SOCKET 7'.
- There are 4 slots PCI
- There are 3 slots ISA
- There is no slot AGP
- There are 4 slots to memory EDO (73 pins)
- There are 2 slots next to EDO's slots (I believe that is for other type of memory). These 2 slots are bigger than EDO's slots
- I can not identify chipset because there's nothing wrote on it.

I think if 'BK55247' is BIOS ID. If I were wrong, please, how can I take the BIOS ID?
I took pictures of my motherboard for you, but is impossible to send them by this forum. So I send for you by email on ajzchips@wimsbios.net with subject "PCChips".

Thank you very much for help.

Downloading the pictures right now. But since it boots, could you please try running BIOS AGENT and post its results here?

Just checked... you have a PCCHIPS M571, of which there are several versions, depending on their Super I/O controller. You'll find the version number printed somewhere on your mobo (I couldn't see it) and most likely near the keyboard connector.
Chances are: V3.2(a) or V7.x (these are the most common).

Hi again ajzchips !

Sorry, my english is not so good. If I were wrong, please correct me:
'Super I/O controller' = BIOS
'mobo' = MOtherBOard

I'm working now, but I take BIOS AGENT. I will send BIOS AGENT results soon as possible (tonight or tomorrow).

I believe you couldn't see the version number because the pictures are not good. That's right? So I will seek for the version number too.

You are very helpful, thanks again.

BIOS AGENT may not be necessary any longer. I identified the motherboard (mobo) model. All you need to do is check the Vx.y number printed on the board.

I'm going to disassemble my computer to seek version number.
Thanks again

Hi !

I found the Version Number, it's V3.2

It covered with a piece of paper, and it was where you said, near the keybord conector.

Now I can find the manual and drivers (I believe).

Thank you very very much ajzchips.

Hi ! bridgewhisper,

I'm looking for the same information of the motherboard "Elpina" BAE-VO 9814 v3.2 - and I found these good notices :

http://m571.com/m571/M571v13.htm

http://m571.com/m571/howtoflashyourbios.htm

http://m571.com/m571/jumpers.htm

and for more, this one...
http://66.102.9.104/search?q=cache:OJQC ... 9814&hl=fr

My first interest are the sound and graphics drivers for this motherboard, because I havn't any driver or another thing altogether of this motherboard.

All drivers are here : http://m571.com/m571/index.htm

Did you find them ?

Sorry, my english is not so good !!!

Thanks and Bye, bye !!!

The DO KNOW section of the PCCHIPS LOTTERY: http://go.to/th2 will be more than enough to solve your problem.
