Need identification on this board; it is a Socket 7 Baby AT board currently with a Pentium 166 and 64MB EDO. Currently very flaky in Win98 and I was wondering if a BIOS update would fix. TIA all

Incomplete data.
Run BIOS Agent and post back your results:

This appears to be an Epox P55-TV motherboard, 4 ISA, 4 PCI, 4 SIMM, 1 DIMM, Intel 430VX chipset, AT. Support page here:

Board physical look is consistent with what zonxar posted; can BIOS Agent fit on a floppy as this machine has no internet connection and I don't want to waste a CD-R.

Download an older DOS version and run it from a boot diskette.

I neglected to mention that the P55-TV also has a cache slot next to the CPU. Yes, the boards are different - the P55-VX doesn't have the cache slot or DIMM, 3 ISA, 4 PCI, 4 SIMMs and is an AT board. Here are some images of each:

I have the P55TV then. Wondering what that slot next to CPU was. How does this board work under Linux? (as I was planning to install Mandriva LE2005)

Here is a page with some settings as well, it appears the max memory is only 128 MB of EDO:

Were you able to reach the Epox link I included earlier? It had manual, driver and BIOS info.
