hi, i have pentium 1GHZ/250/133 and motherboard ASUS CUV4X-E socket 370 ,
when i start the computer it dont work,so is this motherboard support this cpu?

check if you are using PC133 memory and if they are fitted ok, same for the CPU and the power supply connectors. Yes, it should support this CPU.

If your CPU's FSB requirement is 133MHz, you should use PC133 RAM. PC100 RAM is comptatible for a maximum FSB speed of somewhere between 100MHz and 133MHz. PC133 will handle 133MHz without problems.

Also make sure that you stick to memory rated as PC100 or PC133 rather than 100MHz or 133MHz. Memory rated as 100MHz or 133MHz will also run slower that 100MHz or 133MHz respectively.


Finally, if your CPU only requires an FSB of 100MHz, then you will be fine sticking with PC100 memory. In new memory you can only generally get hold of PC100 memory though, but this is backwards compatible to PC100 and PC66.

about this motherboard does it support APM because when i make shut down it dont shut down but display to me that i can now shut it down,so what should i do to make windows XP shut it down by itself?
