Hello
I've got
VTech/PCPartner MB520NH
or
Aristo AM-439VX
BIOS ID string: 08/14/97-i430VX-ITE8680-2A59GV3EC-00
Original BIOS OEM string: BIOS-I (70814B)
and there is flash
New BIOS OEM string: BIOS-I (70814B) patched for 128GB HDD
but i need other think i.e. more memory readed
128 MB RAM DIMM of course.
I know chipset limitations but what bout vxpro+ mobo,
it was flashed to 128 MB even to 160 MB
thanks for answare
More than 32 DIMMs on i430vx boards
first of all: mainboard chipsets can not be flashed. you can flash chips that hold some kind of firmware (called bios in a pc) that initializes basic functions of the chipset. as you already stated the dimm capacity on every intel VX chipset is 32MB per dimm and there is NO WAY AROUND that (FACT!).
talking about other chipsets (VXPro(+), TXPro, whatever) : you did fall for marketing names. they are just names for chipsets of other manufacturers used to fool buyers, making them think of intel chipsets that have similar names. a comprehensive list can be found here. they are just relabled chipsets from manufacturers like SiS, ViA or ALi.

1. DIMM 64Mb (32-chips - 16Mbit tech) run as 64MB.
2. Install stick 256Mb (by non-256MBit tech) and have 64Mb per each module: 64+64 = 128Mb DIMM RAM.

In any case, the chipset hardware limit is still (and always will be) 128MB.
CPU - DFI 586IPVG, K6-2/+ 450 (Cyrix MII 433), i430VX, 128MB EDO.
BIOS patched by BiosMan (Jan Steunebrink).

4 x 32MB SIMM
2 x 64MB DIMM be it EDO or SDRAM
4 x 32MB SIMM and 2 x 64MB EDO DIMM. It still will list 128MB and no more. I was finally able to test this as I found 2 64MB EDO DIMMs that worked, 2 x 32 plus a single DIMM gave 128MB as well.
