"enter current password:" message pop-up, need hel

I have an older model computer, good condition.
Upon trying to start it up a message popped up asking for the
"enter current password:" I don't have a password for the Bios, nor am I very famliar with it's operations. I have the cpu opened and understand theres some way to reset it with jumpers? Any assistance would help me greatly. :(

With standard desktop computer just clear CMOS and the password should be gone. Might not work with Phoenix Bios and does not work with laptops as the supervisor password might jump in.
