My problem is my oversized hd... at least my bios thinks its oversized
I think I have the latest drivers for my award bios ,4.51PG.
So need to dl new beta drivers for my asus p2B board, which i have done.
I have also made a vackup of my bios file and are using aflash for installing the new one.
The file i dl was packed in two zips ?. I tried both the first unpacked one and the last one. But none of them wanted to "flash" me.
Both times i got the error reply " cant find file". I wrote a:\filename..

What to do ?.. I am going crazy , cause i sold my old hd :) ..bummer i know. So i cant play my new games :( ..

Like Rainbow says, one zip should contain Aflash.exe and one should contain the BIOS image 1014.002. You need those two files on a bootable diskette. I guess you did that.
So then you did:
as the aflash 206 instructions wrote:4. At the "A:" prompt, type: [AFLASH] and then the <Enter> key.

5. Enter 2 "Update BIOS Including Boot Block and ESCD" from the Main Menu.

6. The program displays a second screen prompting you for the name of the
BIOS file. Type in the complete file name and extension i.e. 1014.002 of the new BIOS,
and then press the <Enter> key. The utility then uploads the BIOS file
from disk.
and it didn't find the 1014.002 file ?
Tested patched BIOSes. Untested patched BIOSes.
