I've run various utilities and grabbed the AMI BIOS ID as:

63-0603-000010-00101111-070904-ATHLON64-A0023010

Checking the string '000010' on your AMI BIOS ID page failes to give me a manufacturer and it definitely doesn't match the Asus entry in the list. Checking the Asus page doesn't show any matching ID - where do I go from here, please? Any help very gratefully received.

Seems to be an old 2004 Bios release.
Is this a retail board or does it came from a branded system?
-> Check board markings, it might have an additional k8v-mx/s printed somewhere.

It's in a Mesh PC which is about 2 - 3 years old. I'll have to dismantle the case to see what's actually written on the mobo.

I never thought of contacting Mesh for a BIOS upgrade, since the only times I've ever upgraded a BIOS in the past, I've obtained the file from the BIOS manufacturer's web site.

I'll contact Mesh and see if they can oblige.

Many thanks for your help.
