Just to know how do you patch a BIOS in the binary file? And why the the official BIOS update doesn't worked?

I was almost givin up with 1440x900.
System:
Asus Barebone Vintage V1 PE1 with SiS661FX
Samsung SyncMaster 940NW - LCD wide 19'

BIOS update from Asus didn't work,
Your's "Asus V1-PE1" updated video BIOS to 2.51.00 (from 2.20.0) and now I have native resolution 1440x900 !! :D
