I can't find where are the settings for the critcal temperature Shutdown of the Cpu... I need to check them because it seems that my notebook reaches at max 45-50° and then it chrashes...

50C sound too low temp to cause stability problems.

Better clean the CPU cooler from dust.

Mabe you can change power options to run at lower speed.

You can also try utilities to lower core voltage.

That's the problem... I want to check wether the settings are changed or not, but I can't find them...

Your laptop has Intel Core Duo T2300 (1.66 GHz, 667 MHz FSB, 2MB L2 cache)?

If so, then you should be able to downvolt it using Rightmark CPU clock utility. It also shows the core temp.
