Hi all...
Could anybody help me? I cannot find any update for my old bios.
New 60GB HDD has not been detected.
I don't know if 'Procomp Informatics Ltd.' is motherboard manofacturer.
Please, please... I am in trouble.

If you took the trouble to check the other information on this site you would find that this gives you some more info including a link to the manufacturer's website.

...and a BIOS dated 18/9/2000 V1.30 can be found there. It does not say whether this supports big drives.

OK, go to www.wimsbios.com. Select "manufacturer links" and select "P". Select "Procomp". This will give you a list of links including http://www.procomp.com.tw/. This is where I got the link to the BIOS. Check the BIOS download selection page at http://www.procomp.com.tw/driver/j2-1.asp?type=bvc2b. The link I gave you is direct to Procomp's FTP site.

Hmm... I have HTTP _403_ error. I'm using my native language IE. Is this page password protected or something?

From Central Europe (Poland) I've 403 error :( From two cites...

But anyway... I've updated my bios using your file. As you guess there is no big discs support. I'm newbie in this matter.
What can I do more?

Do you see the new BIOS ID string on the POST screen?
"09/18/2000-693-596-W977T-2A6LGPNFC-00"
and "BVC2B BIOS V1.3" on the top of screen?

This BIOS supports HDDs up to 64GB.
Here's another link to it ftp://ser2.procomp.com.tw/download/bvc2b130.zip

Anyway... I've updated bios using your links. Now HDD is detected. Everything works correctly. Thank you both... You saved much of my time and nerves...

Thanks again...
