FIC VL-601. There are more board versions. What's displayed at the top of screen during POST (something like "Version IV4139")? Also check board version (should be printed somewhere on the board) and better the what's printed on the Flash ROM chip too (under the Award sticker if any).

Hi,

It says Version VBS 1.11 B VL-601
the chip(if i have looked at the right one) has 058103
484 on it
the only other numbers i could find on the board is B03K49-C but that could also be B83K49-C and a larger number KK8175480

I hope it's enough, because there isn't anything else

If you can't identify the Flash ROM chip, get awdflash somewhere and run it with /pn /sy parameters to save backup of your current BIOS. Is the file 128KB or 256KB long?

So it should be v1.1 or v1.1A or v1.1B - they all use the same BIOS. So this BIOS should be for you "09/28/2001-i440LX(EX)-2A69JF09C-00" ftp://ftp.fica.com/BIOS/motherboards/sl ... b_beta.zip
Remember to backup the old one before flashing.
