Hi
I seen to have a partially corrupt bios. I can access parts ok, but others are missing chunks. How can i aquire a replacement?
Its an Award 2A4IBR22 for an SiS 85C496/7 chipset.

Ah you have the Rectron variety of the board there. Do you think it is possible to email me a copy of that corrupt bios so I can try and match it with any of the unnamed bioses I have in here? I might have something that fits your board.

Can you check the part number of your bios chip please? You may need to replace the chip itself as well if it turns out to be an EPROM not flashROM.

required. I think what happened is someone tried to reflash the eprom with a flash program which basically killed it.
