I'm Emma, new to the forum and would like help with a BIOS upgrade please for the purpose of installing a 40gig drive.
I'm looking for a BIOS upgrade file for the following:
BIOS Manufacturer: Award Modular BIOS v4.51PGM
BIOS ID: 08/14/97-i430TX-SMC669-2A59ID1G00
Processor: Cyrix 6X86
I believe the mobo manufacturer are DTK (D1)
However, looking on the their site http://www.dtk.com.tw/download/bios.html
I can't find a mobo model No. to match.
On my manual, the No. is GMB- P57IAA

Google search for that comes up with Gemlight....apparently (see http://www.plasma-online.de/english/ide ... light.html) "DTK and Vextrec use Gemlight boards under different names" so DTK probably have it under a different name.
