I'm running win2K, but my computer doesen't like that so i have to upgrade my BIOS, but i can't find it.
please help me....

BIOS Date: 04/12/99
BIOS Type: Award Modular BIOS v4.51PG
BIOS ID: 04/12/1999-i440BX-W977-2A69KL1AC
BIOS Eval: #9KA6-01
Chipset: Intel 440BX/ZX rev 3

Do you need to upgrade your BIOS for hard disk or for ACPI ? If it is hard disk I have the #9KA6-01 BIOS (for Lucky Star 6P2BX?) patched for 128GB.
Tested patched BIOSes. Untested patched BIOSes.

I have emailed the 9KA6-01 BIOS patched for 128 GB HDD.
Tested patched BIOSes. Untested patched BIOSes.

Sorry, our emails crossed. I do not know how we can fix the ACPI. Suggestions please anyone ? I think Microsoft have guidelines on turning off ACPI in their knowledgebase.

Force an APM install. See the WinXP topic in the Collected Wisdom forum.
Flash your BIOS at your own risk.

I'm gonna try that.
My computer shut downs when it feels for it and i have too restart it. I didn't have this problem when i had Windows 98 and the say that i must upgrade my BIOS.
