Hi, I have just updated the BIOS on this board to the latest version of the Abit BIOS. The flash was successful and everything, but when I try to boot to Windows XP Professional, I get the blue screen. First time it gives me an error relating to the ACPI.sys file. I tried reinstalling and that keeps locking up. Any ideas? I was thinking about going back to the BIOS that I had before that was working. Does anyone have any tips to help me without doing this? Thanks in advance.

You wouldn't happen to have both ACPI and APM activated simultaneously in BIOS, right? If so, disable APM.

I will check that, but I am thinking that is not the case because the only thing I changed after flashing the BIOS was the CPU speed. I will certainly check that though, thanks for the suggestion!

Erm... the CPU speed changed? Was it displaying the wrong speed with your previous BIOS? Or do you now have a wrong (overclocked) speed?
