256 MB Ram shown as 128 MB, MS-6156Va

My motherboard is made by MSI, MS-6156Va. There are 3 new bios-updates on the net, i coulnd only install the latest version. That version doesn´t fix the problem which i have with the Ram, so i have to delete the new bios, to get to the older version. Can anybody help me ???

There are 16 pins alltogether on the chip, and each chip ist 16 MB. so 16x16=256 MB.
I have made all bios updates but it doesn´t work. In one of the Read Me´s was written that this version of bios will fix some SDRam Memory issue.
