Ok...lately my computer has been pissing me off royaly! i've been getting bsod's like crazy(in xp might i add) and SOMETIMES it'll read my 256mg ddr stick but usually it reads it as 128, both bios and windows. Im pretty sure thats my ram dying, but its only a year old, it could've overheated but i'd like to think not.Do yall think that updating my bios would help? if so , i have NO idea how to do it....plz get back to me.
thnx

Unlikely to be the BIOS. Try one of the memory tests like goldmem. Does it vary with temperature ?
