Hi, i can't install a ram module of 512 mb in my motherboard.

The bios is: 03/19/2001-693A-686A-6A6LGL1QC-00
and the bios oem signon: 6VA693AM(S)-F3

The system only recognize 256 mb.

Why?

Thanks, and sorry for my English. I'm spanish.

Chipset limit. Hardware problem, so no bios upgrade or other thing is going to solve this.

Maximum DIMM size is 256MB, you could put 2 x 256MB in this board.
