I have an IBM Thinkpad 600 with the latest BIOS. Now, the manual says the maximum amount of memory is 288 MB, two 128 MB DIMMs with 32 MB installed on the mb. I have a 256 MB DIMM, seems to install fine, the memory counter shows the correct amount, but the machine will not get past the BIOS screen. ...
